A tiny native woodland iris that spreads into a mat and throws a sheet of spring blue at ankle height. Charming and well-behaved.
Path edges and gentle slopes where it can colonize.
Spreads by surface rhizomes; lift and divide to expand. Light, well-drained soil.
Straight species, or white 'Tennessee White'.
